Be A Doer Of The Word And Not A Hearer Only

James 2:26   For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Many Christians can quote numinous bible scriptures and can chant many confession like a machine gun. But where is their fruit? Unless you are a doer and not just a hearer and a talker, your faith is dead and will never produce fruit. Many sing praises and clap and shout to the Lord Jesus Christ but they won’t follow or do The Word of God in their life. You can see many theologians with many degrees and platitudes from prestigious theological universities who can memorize most of the bible. Yet they have never won a soul to the Lord Jesus Christ! There is no evidence of fruit or a move of The Spiritual Gifts in their lives. Faith works by The God Kind of Love and not with worldly knowledge or wisdom.

2 Corinthians 3:6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

You judge a tree by its fruit. A person can be like a tree being a doer by producing good fruit or just a hearer with no fruit. Which one will you follow or listen to? You can fall in Love with Jesus again by Prayer, Fellowship and Feeding on The Word of God. You can be a Mighty Doer of The Word by the more time you spend with Jesus and His Living Word your love and hunger will be great. You will want to go out and share Jesus and The Gospel wherever you go.

When you Love God you will serve Him with all your heart and mind and be a doer of The Word. Let The world see Jesus through His Word

Act 20:26-27 Therefore I testify to you this day that I [am] innocent of the blood of all [men]. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.

Matthew 15:8 These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with [their] lips, But their heart is far from Me.

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!

James 1:6-7 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;.

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
