Confidence in The Word Of God Creates The Boldness to Receive The Promises of The Lord Jesus Christ
by Sam Sweg
1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
When Jesus spoke with me He said when The Picture of Jesus and His Word is Bigger in your heart than the circumstances you will always receive your answered Prayers!
Confidence in The Word of God produces a heart full of Bold Faith. You cannot trust some one unless you know them. The more time you spend on The Word the more you will know Jesus and His Promises. When your heart is full of The Picture of Jesus and His Word You can Boldly enter into The Promises of The Word of God with a heart full of Living Faith and Expectancy
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
I asked The Lord Jesus what stops Christians from receiving their answered prayers. He said the devil, the world and self condemnation stops their confidence to come before Jesus with a Boldness to Receive. When you study The Living Word of God you realize in your heart and spirit His Words are Spirit, Life and Truth for you to enter into His Promises.
1 John 3:20-23 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
Romans 8:1 there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Romans 8:5-8 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Psalms 1:1-3 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
Hebrews 11:6 for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
