DO NOT LOOK BACK ALWAYS FOLLOW JESUS

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
When you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior you became a Born-Again Child of God the old person has passed away and you have a new life not weighed down from the sins, hurts and mistakes of the past. Don’t waste your new life by looking back. If you do it is like an anchor on a boat you will never go forward with The Lord Jesus Christ. You will be stuck and swallowed up in the misery of your past without The Love, Power and Direction of The Lord Jesus Christ!
Luke 9:62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
You can’t be led by The Spirit of God if you are looking back and not on Jesus and His Word. The devil will always bring accusations and condemnation to have you take your eyes and heart off of your New Life as a Born-Again Child of God. The devil wants to distract you and look and listen to him then you are no longer a threat to him you will no longer have power over him! There is such a great life and future with Jesus’s love with Him living in your heart! The past is dead and our sins are forgiven; we are washed clean with The Blood of Jesus. You will become whatever you dwell on it is up to you what you want in your life. The Joy of The Lord or the past.
Romans 8:4-5 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Your new life with God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ started when you were Born Again! When you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, your Lord means we follow Jesus and His Holy Word always and not looking back. Looking back will take your eyes off of Jesus and you will resurrect the dead life of your past and bring condemnation and great hurts to yourself. When your heart is full of condemnation you are reliving all the hurts and failures of the past without the Love and direction of Jesus. The past is dead don’t resurrect it by dwelling on it.
1John 3:20-21 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
