Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.   (1 John 5:14-15)

Many Christians pray without knowing the will of God. They pray to the Lord Jesus Christ “if it be your will” and wonder why their prayers are not being answered. God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ’s will is His written Word of God which is the Holy Bible. God Almighty will never do anything contrary to His written Word. To know His will is to know His Word. When you know His will then you can pray with a complete trust and expectancy that He hears your prayers. When your prayer is based upon the Word and promises of God Almighty they will be heard and answered. The more time you spend reading and meditating on the Word of God, the more the Word of God and His will shall become alive in your Spirit.

(Isaiah 55:11)
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

(Luke 5:5-7)
