And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
The full power of God Almighty will flow through and out of you when you have a complete dependence and Trust in Him. You must stop trusting and relying on your own strength and intellect. The moment you do He can pour out His perfect will for your life.
But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
(2 Corinthians 12:9, Amplified Bible)
Your trust and confidence in your abilities and pride of life will stop the power and grace of God Almighty. He will never interfere against your plans or your will, unless you yield your plans to Him. Our power and strength comes through the Lord Jesus Christ only when we put our faith and trust completely in Him. The Lord Jesus Christ wants to live in and through you only if you will share your heart and life with Him! The Lord Jesus Christ can only fill your heart with His presence with as much as you give Him.
If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;
(Isaiah 1:19)
And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
(John 6:35)
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
(1 Corinthians 2:9-12)
