Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-6, Amplified Bible)

The Word of God states that, “Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him” (Hebrews 10:39). Faith means to totally trust and rely completely on Him. When you trust God Almighty then yaou are lifting up and honoring Him and the Lord Jesus Christ in your life. Your total faith and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ releases His power to intervene into your life. The only way to release His miracles and power is for you to open the door of Heaven with you totally trusting Him to answer your needs.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

When the Lord Jesus Christ becomes your very and only source of life, then He has full authority to intervene with His power on your behalf.

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.
(Matthew 21:21)

Your doubt and unbelief stops the power of God from entering into your life because He will never do anything against your will or desires!

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
(Mark 11:23-24)
And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! Amplified Bible
(Mark 9:23)
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
(Mark 11:22)
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
(Luke 8:50)
