Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

When The Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me He said many Christians say they are led by My Spirit.You first have to wait and follow Him to be led by His Spirit.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth

A Christian that Rests and Waits upon The Lord is standing in Faith and Trust that The Lord will guide and lead them in the perfect Will of God.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

When you are truly being Led by The Lord Jesus Christ you will always Rest and Wait for His Direction. Many Christians feel they don’t need direction and they can do it themselves in their own emotions, wisdom and pride. When they stumble and fail they wonder why the Lord did not quicken or help them by warning them in advance.

Psalm 31:3 For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.

The Holy Spirit of God Almighty is your Helper who will lead and guide you if you will only wait and listen for His direction and answers to your desires. The Holy Spirit will Lead Teach and Direct you in all things that you will face in life if only you would Wait on The Lord.

John 14:16-17 “And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever; “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 16:13 “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
