Is Your Faith in Your Faith or is Your Faith in God?
by Sam Sweg
Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.”
When I was in prayer years ago the Lord Jesus Christ came and spoke to me in an audible voice. He said many Christians have faith in their faith, self righteousness and confessions. But they do not have faith or a relationship with Me. Their Faith is in their head knowledge & pride.
Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Faith means a simple child like Trust in God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ and His Words. Your Faith can not be in your own strength or intellect. Your Faith should never be distracted by what you see, feel, hear or touch. Whenever your eyes and heart are on Jesus you are in His Presence. The closer you come to Jesus the more you will Trust Him
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Many Christians are moved by how they feel, hear and what they see. Condemnation in your heart can stop your belief in The Lord Jesus Christ and His Words right in its tracks.
1 John 3:20-22 “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
When you have simple child like Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for each and every need it is very easy to Trust and Believe Him and not your self. When the Lord Jesus Christ first appeared to me He said that if I would paint a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ bigger in your heart than the sickness, tribulations or circumstance; you will always receive your Miracle! You were saved by the Loving Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and not by your self righteousness or works. It is the same Loving Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that will move mightily in your life if you will only get your self out of His way and Believe Him! Trust in The Lord with all of your heart.
Psalm 34:17-19 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
Did you notice the Word of God says ALL in both verses? All the Lord Jesus Christ asks for you to do is to Believe Him and call out to Him and not trust in yourself. He does Love you Mightily.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
John 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
