For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

(James 2:26)

Many Christians have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and believe He can answer their prayers.  You could say they have faith in Him.  The problem is many have never put their Faith in Jesus Christ to a living action full of expectancy to receive.  In the Gospels, just as today, many people came out in thousands to worship and praise Jesus as there Lord and Savior.  There were many who were blind, crippled and sick who needed healing but they watched Jesus walk by them without ever receiving there miracle.  When Jesus appeared to me He said, many people have faith in their faith but few have faith in Me.

It honors and pleases the Lord Jesus Christ when you come to Him with a heart full of expectancy to receive from Him.  True living faith is alive and full of fervent expectancy that will always reach out to Jesus to receive it’s miracle.  If Jesus was to walk in your room and ask, “What can I do for you,” would you be ready to receive?

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

(Psalm 34:17)

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

(Hebrews 11:6)

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”  Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”  So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.  Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer.  Rise, He is calling you.”  And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.  So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” T he blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”  Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.”  And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.

(Mark 10:47-52)

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”  And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him.  And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”  They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”  Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”
