What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
(Romans 8:31-32)

When the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to me, I asked Him why do we have to pray for our needs when the Word of God states He knows every hair on our head. The Lord Jesus Christ said that when you pray and ask Him you are acknowledging and honoring Him as your Lord, healer and provider for all your needs. Proverbs 3:5-6 states, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Dakes translates the same proverb this way:

In all thy ways acknowledge him Begin, continue, and end every work, purpose, and plan with God. Self-sufficiency and self-confidence have been the ruin of mankind ever since the fall. Man’s sin has been to live independently of God. True religion consists of full acknowledgment of God in all human affairs.
(Proverbs 3:5-6, Dakes Bible)

By acknowledging Him you are giving Him the honor and praising Him for all of His promises to you in His Word . The Lord Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd and He promises you to always too watch over and take care of your needs. The more you read His Word the more you will trust Him and know His promises to you. The more you know about Him the more you can trust Him. His Will is His written promises through the Word of God in the Bible to you personally!

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
(1 John 5:14,15)

The highest form of faith in prayer is to thank the Lord Jesus Christ in advance for your answered prayer. When you thank Him in advance you are acknowledging and thanking Him for your miracles and desires. The Lord Jesus Christ is a God of Love who divinely loves you beyond your human comprehension.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
(Mark 11:24)
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
(John 15:7)
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
(1 John 5:5)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
(John 16:33)
