Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

(John 15:4-5

In many a Christian’s life we become so consumed in revelation, worldy knowledge and the Hebrew and Greek we forget the very basic foundational instructions the Lord Jesus Christ gave to all born again Christians to follow all their lives.  Many believers are living and feeding on the world system and have taken their eyes and heart off of the Lord Jesus Christ.  These Christians can not understand why their lives are going nowhere and they feel so empty inside.  They keep saying something is missing and I know I am called to do something.  Come back to your first love and see the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are alive and are unlimited inside of you.  In Matthew 22:37-38 Jesus said to him, “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”  This is the first and great commandment.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the very source of life and happiness.  When your life abides in Him, He is the very source of all good things.  When you love Him with all your heart and mind He can live through you.  The emptiness leaves and  your life will overflow with His power and love.

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'”

(Matthew 4:4)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

(Proverbs 3:5-6)

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

(Psalm 119:105)

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

(John 15:7-8)

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

(Matthew 6:33)

Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!  Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

(Psalm 103:1-105)
