In the heart or spirit of every Christian lies the most Powerful Force in all ages and existence. That Power is The Word of God and the very Presence of Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit of God Almighty.

Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

When you pray in The Spirit your spirit sees through the eyes of God Almighty and not the natural world. When we walk live and pray by sight we are limiting the Power of God in our lives.

John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Praying in the Spirit releases all anchors and barriers of the sense ruled world that hinders our effectiveness and puts your prayer in agreement with God Almighty. When you pray you have become a yielded vessel for God Almighty to pour out His Power and Desires into this world. Your faith and spirit will grow daily and immensely in the Power of God with the operation of The Gifts of The Spirit following.

Luke 11:13 “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

A person who has a solid prayer life of extended prayer is one who has laid his life down for The Lord Jesus Christ. How much are you willing to lay your life down for The Lord Jesus Christ in a life of Prayer to save the life even of one soul?
