Prayer is the key that opens the doors of Heaven and releases the power of God on this earth.
In Luke 18, Jesus spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. When Jesus appeared to me, I asked, “Jesus, what stops people from receiving their miracle?” Jesus showed me something that was so amazing. He took me out of my body in a vision and He showed me a person that was actually about to receive a miracle.
Through the years I’ve watched this happen many times in crusades. Jesus would come into a crusade and stand behind a person. I would think, “it can’t be my imagination,” because the moment He touched them, the Glory of God would light them up and I would see their miracle manifest. After Jesus would leave a demonic spirit would come behind them and tell them they did not receive and they were not worthy.
Jesus showed me in another vision a man who was going to receive a miracle. The Lord said, “Watch this.” There was a door and on the other side was his miracle and the answer to his prayers. The closer the man came to the door the louder the devil became. And the moment the man touched that door, the devil told him he wasn’t good enough, he would never receive it, he had not done enough and the man dropped his hand and walked off defeated. I’m sharing this with you today because Jesus is saying to you, “Men ought to always pray and not lose heart.” We give up and quit to early! We’ve must get the picture of I John 4:4 inside of us: “Greater is He that is in you than he that’s in the world.” If you have that picture in your heart, pray with expectancy and not lose heart, you will receive your victory. Prayer allows the power of God to flow through you. Therefore, do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward
For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. (Hebrews 10:35-36)
