Mark 4:13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?
Mark 4:14 “The sower sows the word.
Mark 4:15 “And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.
Mark 4:16 “These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
Mark 4:17 “and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.
Mark 4:18 “Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,
Mark 4:19 “and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
Mark 4:20 “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
The Bible tells us, that when a believer starts feeding on the Word of God, that Satan will come immediately with what? Cares. Cares, persecutions, trials and the desire of other things. In other words, the devil comes to steal the Word of God. Once a person has the revelation of who, God Almighty is and how big Jesus is in you, then a person can change the world! So the devil will come at you, with everything he can, to get you to doubt your self. A person says, ‘I must have a secret sin, why are all these bad things happening to me? There must be something wrong in my life. Maybe I haven’t done enough for God?’
When all the time, the Bible tells us that Satan comes with cares, the desires of other things and persecutions. All these things to steal God’s Word out of you! Mark, the fourth chapter, by the way. We have to get our eyes on how Big Jesus Christ is in you. All that God Almighty wants you to do, is to trust him, that is all that faith in the Word of God is, to trust and to rely on God. Godly sorrow produces repentance. When you are sorry for a sin, it is wiped out, there is no record of it in Heaven. God Almighty does not have a record of it, because there is no record in heaven. There may be a record in the devil’s realm, there maybe a record in the man’s realm, but God Almighty does not keep a score card on you. Jesus Christ came to save sinners. If you could be perfect, you would not need Jesus Christ.
