Matthew 14:25-31 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

When your eyes and heart are fully focused on Jesus and His Word, All Things Will Be Possible for you! When The Promises of God manifest in your life then Jesus is Gloried for all the world to see He has Risen and His Living Words are True.

Peter was walking on the Words of Jesus and not on the water. When the devil caused the wind and waves to manifest Peter took his eyes and heart off of Jesus and set them on the devil’s distraction. When that happens in our lives we are focused on the demonic distractions rather than Jesus and His Word. When your eyes and heart are on Jesus and His Holy Divine Word you are standing on the Rock and nothing can move you. The devil will always send you distractions, persecutions and cares of this life to keep your eyes off of Jesus and looking to the devils works. When your eyes are fixed on the demonic distraction you will sink until you set your eyes back on Jesus and His Divine Holy Word which is your Rock to stand on His Promises.

Mark 4:15-20 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

Luke 6:48-49 “He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
