Who is he who condemns?  It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us
(Romans 8:34)
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
(Romans 8:38 -39)

We can determine how much of the love and presence of God we can receive.  As we can see in the Word of God, He has made His love to you unstoppable.  The closer you come to God, the closer He comes to you.  We can get so caught up and distracted by the cares and pressure of this life that we take our eyes off of the Lord Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith.  When that happens our faith in Jesus grows dim.

These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time.  Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.  Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.  But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirty-fold, some sixty, and some a hundred.
(Mark 16-20)

What ever your heart is looking at that is what you will have faith in.  The devil will always create circumstances and persecution to distract you from drawing near to God.  There is nothing in all of creation that can steal the love of God from and in you.  You can this moment cast all of your cares and desires on the Lord Jesus Christ and draw nearer to Him.  When ever pressures and cares come upon Elise and myself we instantly draw closer to Jesus and enter into His shadow.  I want to exhort you this day to fall in love with Jesus like you never had before and let him fill, heal and restore you with the desires of your heart.  Jesus is so in love with you and wants to fellowship and fill you over flowing with His love, that it will flow through and all around you and to all those around you.

God Bless You Always,
Sam & Elise
