Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. |
(Ephesians 6:10) |
The Lord Jesus Christ is your true strength and power on this earth. Without Him you are left to your own resources. The Lord Jesus Christ will never interfere in your life unless you yield yourself completely over to Him. He wants you to have a complete dependence upon Him.
God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect. |
(2 Samuel 22:33) |
When you encounter difficulties in your life He will move mightily on your behalf when you call out to Him!
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. |
(Psalm 34:17) |
Personal pride in your strength, wisdom and self reliance will stop God from helping you. The Lord wants you to develop a deep intimate relationship with Him that increases daily. He lives in you and shares your life with you. When you realize He abides in you and you in Him your walk in The Spirit and prayer life will become dynamic with signs and miracles following.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. |
(John 15:4-5) |
The more time you spend with Him the more you will be like Him!
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |
(Phil 4:13) |
I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me. |
(Psalm 57:2) |
Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses. |
(Psalm 107:28) |
He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. |
(Psalm 107:29) |
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. |
(2 Cor 12:9) |
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. |
(2 Cor 12:10) |
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. |
(Psalm 18:3) |
