And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” |
(Matthew 9:28-29) |
Most people do not understand what faith means. All faith means is to trust the Lord Jesus Christ with your heart and not your head. When you trust Him you give the Lord Jesus Christ the right to intervene in your life and answer your prayers. You can limit the power of God or increase His power in your life by how much you will trust Him. He said according to your faith let it be to you. In Mark 9:23 Jesus said to a man, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
When you trust and believe the Lord Jesus Christ you will please Him. The more you know Him and all about Him the more you will trust and believe His promises through God’s Word. Romans 10:17 states, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
When you diligently seek Him and His promises He will reward you abundantly with His divine blessings, favor and answer your prayers. Hebrews 11:6 states, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
The Lord Jesus Christ and the Father God Almighty created you to have an divine, intimate fellowship with you so He can pour His divine love and power through You. When you love Him then it is very easy to trust and believe Him. If you go through life without spending time or seeking Him then it is very hard to trust or believe Him. Remember: To trust someone, you must first get to know them.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. |
(Psalm 1:1-3) |
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. |
(Mark 11:24) |
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? |
