. . . that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
(1 Corinthians 2:5)

Where does your power come from?  Does it come from your trust in yourself or from the natural powers of this world?  The Lord Jesus Christ made provision for every born again believer to be filled with His power and walk victoriously in this world.

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
(Luke 10:19)

When ever you need help or power you must first look to the Lord Jesus Christ.  When your eyes are upon Him, His Power will flow through and around you.  Psalms 121:2 states, “My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.”  He imparted The Holy Spirit through you to Pour His Power and Will to this World.  Luke 24:49 states, “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.”  The Lord Jesus Christ wants all of us to demonstrate His power to all around you in every circumstance.  This demonstrates that He has risen and He is Lord over this world.  You can personally make the greatest difference in the lives of those all around you for all of eternity.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
(Ephesians 6:10)
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.
(1 Corinthians 2:4)
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
(Acts 1:8)
So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
(Acts 3:12)
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.
(Acts 6:8)
