WHO DO YOU TRUST THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OR THE WORLD?
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world; our faith.
When Jesus appeared to me years ago, he told me something that changed my life forever. Jesus said “people have more faith in their faith than in me”(Jesus). I told Him I did not understand that. He said when you are moved by how you feel or by condemnation or self exaltation then your faith is in yourself and not in God.
How many times have you heard some one say I don’t feel like praying. I feel I am not worthy or I cant do it? Many times they will say it is impossible for them to have the victory or healing. The key to victory is to realize that your strength is in Jesus Christ and not in yourself.
1 John 4:4-5 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
Jesus told me that is why pride comes before a fall. We trust so much in our intellect, strength and greatness instead of relying on our Lord Jesus Christ. When you Trust Jesus to take care of the circumstances or road blocks in your life, then you are releasing His Power for the victory. The only way to release His Power is through you Trusting Him. The Greatest most Powerful Faith in all of existance is your simple child like Trust in The Lord Jesus Christ!
The Power of The Lord Jesus Christ Pours into your life when we realize it is not in our own strength or might but by His Spirit.
Zechariah 4:6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.
2 Cor 12:9-10 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
1 Cor 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
