Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
(Proverbs 3:5-7)

The greatest enemy to limit the power of God flowing through your life is your own understanding and thinking!  We must look think and pray through the eyes of the Spirit of God Almighty. The Lord Jesus Christ said “With God all things are possible to him who believes and trusts Him!”  Romans 8:6 says, “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”  We limit the power of God in our prayers, thoughts when you pray through your natural thinking and your five senses.  John 4:24 states, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”  The pride of life refuses to totally trust, rely and yield on the Lord Jesus Christ.  Pride wants to tell the Lord Jesus Christ how and when they want their prayer answered rather then give it completely over to Him.

The Lord Jesus Christ knows the whole picture from the begging to the end. I would rather just Trust and ask Him for a miracle then to be specific and tell him what where and when to do it.  He is all knowing and a whole lot smarter, wiser then we are.  When you pray in the Spirit you are releasing His desires and will into your life and this earth.  When you pray with your own thinking, wisdom and understanding you are releasing your thoughts and desires.  His are far greater and He knows all Things.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.  For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
(Romans 8:26)
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
(Ephesians 3:20)
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.  For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him?  Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
(1 Corinthians 2:9-12)
