Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Many Christians try to be strong and self reliant in themselves and not in The Lord Jesus Christ. When you do that you are relying on the limited carnal powers of yourself and this world.

John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Romans 8:5-6 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

The Lord Jesus Christ will not interfere in your life until you rely and call out to Him! Pride in your abilities and strength will keep The Very Power of God Almighty out of your life. You will be on your own and without The Lord Jesus Christ to watch over you.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10  And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Lord Jesus Christ has Empowered and Equipped every Born Again Christian with His Holy Spirit and His Living Word to overcome this world and all of it’s powers! But The Power of God Almighty can only operate with you abiding and living through The Lord Jesus Christ and His Living Word! When you rely on your own strength and intellect you are saying I do not need your help. Remember The Lord Jesus Christ will not interfere in your life until you surrender your will and rely on Him.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

1 John 4:4  You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
